Dr Atallah is the Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs at Dubai Medical University. Prior to joining DMU he served as Cardiovascular Senior Pharmacotherapy Specialist at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Clinical Associate Professor at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic he was on faculty as Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) in Riyadh. Dr. Atallah received his PharmD from Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy in Virginia and completed an ASHP accredited post graduate residency at Winchester Medical Center in Virginia. He was awarded the “Graduate of the Last Decade” award by his alma mater. Dr. Atallah is board certified in pharmacotherapy with added qualifications in Cardiology. He also holds an advanced antithrombotic management certificate from ASHP. Dr Atallah is a fellow of the Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA) and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP). He has several publications and presentations at national and international conferences. He was awarded the 2021 ACCP Cardiology PRN international award. His research interests are in various aspects of cardiovascular pharmacotherapy with focus on antithrombotic therapy, heart failure and hyperlipidemia.

Dr. Sabbour has over 29 years of experience in all aspects of cardiology, with advanced training at Harvard Medical School (Massachusetts General Hospital) and a former Clinical Assistant Professorship at Brown University’s Warren Alpert School of Medicine. He is a leader in complex cardiac care in the UAE, widely published in multicentre cardiovascular research and guidelines, and has performed over 800 cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including ablations and implantable devices.

Dr. Hussam Ghalib, MD, is a Consultant Cardiologist in the Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute (HVTI) at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (CCAD). He specializes in Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology and is the Medical Director of Mechanical Circulatory Support at CCAD. He is also the Director of the Cardiomyopathy Clinic at CCAD. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Ghalib was at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Centre, where he specialized in Cardiovascular Medicine, and Advanced Heart Failure Management. Dr. Ghalib received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Health System, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. He then served on faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Hospital for two years. Subsequently, he completed a Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship at UCLA Medical Centre, Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Kumayl Al-Lawati is a Consultant in Heart Failure at the Royal Hospital, Oman, appointed in 2021. He has played a pivotal role in expanding the heart failure service from an outpatient-based model to a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient program. He also introduced the cardiac endomyocardial biopsy procedure to enhance the follow-up care of heart transplant patients and implemented advanced therapies for cardiomyopathies, including cardiac amyloidosis and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Dr. Al-Lawati’s clinical expertise includes cardiac device therapy, such as cardiac resynchronization therapy, pacemakers, and implantable cardioverter defibrillators, as well as heart failure and cardiomyopathies. He is a former Head of the Heart Failure Service at the Royal Hospital and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (FRCPE). He also serves as faculty at the Oman Medical Specialty Board and contributes to fellowship examinations. Additionally, he is an active member of the Oman Heart Association, the National Heart Centre Research Committee, and the British Cardiovascular Society.

Dr. Manyoo Agarwal is Director of Cardio Oncology Program and Consultant Cardiologist at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi focusing on improving cardiovascular health in clinical and research practice. With more than 150 publications in top cardiology journals, he is an internationally recognized speaker at several leading cardiology platforms including European Society of Cardiology.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Mehairi is a Consultant Cardiac Electrophysiologist who completed his training in Kingston, Canada. He has been leading the electrophysiology and cardiac pacing services in Al Ain at Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Medical City and Tawam Hospital for more than 12 years. Dr. Al-Mehairi has played a key role in establishing a center of excellence for arrhythmia consultations, receiving referrals from both governmental and private healthcare sectors across the city. His clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and management of cardiac arrhythmias, electrophysiological procedures, and cardiac device therapy.

Dr. Mohammad Sherif is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist specializing in structural heart diseases at Sheikh Tahnoon Medical City, UAE. He completed his medical training at Ain Shams University and holds German board certification in cardiology and internal medicine. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at Charité University Hospital Berlin. His expertise includes TAVI and complex cardiovascular interventions, with a strong focus on advancing structural heart programs.

Mosa’b Al-Balas is an internationally accredited clinical pharmacist and healthcare leader with extensive experience across Canada and the UAE. Holding a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Toronto, along with an MBA, he is recognized for his expertise in clinical pharmacy, regulatory compliance, medical education, and patient-centered pharmaceutical care. He has contributed to residency training, clinical research, and multidisciplinary healthcare initiatives while advancing excellence in pharmacy practice and professional development.

Dr. Musa A. Sharkawi, MBBCh, is a Staff Physician in Cardiovascular Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute. Previously an Assistant Professor at Medical College of Georgia, he directed the Structural Heart Disease Program and co-led the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program. Trained at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School, Dr. Sharkawi specializes in complex coronary and structural interventions and has extensive experience in clinical research and fellowship education.

Dr. Najoud Al Seiari is a Consultant Cardiologist at Sheikh Tahnoon Medical City, UAE, with specialized expertise in advanced cardiac imaging. She completed fellowships in Cardiology through the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and Cardiac MRI at the Royal Brompton Hospital, UK, earning Level 3 SCMR certification. Her clinical interests include cardiovascular imaging, heart failure, and structural heart disease. Dr. Al Seiari is actively involved in research, medical education, and quality improvement initiatives, and has received recognition for her contributions to clinical research and excellence in cardiovascular care.

Dr. Sadek El Mokahal is a Consultant Cardiologist at STMC and Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, UAE, where he has practiced since 1993. He earned his Internal Medicine and Cardiology Board certifications from the American University of Beirut in 1991 and 1993. His clinical interests include heart failure, hypertension, dyslipidemia, valvular disease, and cardiomyopathy, with a focus on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered cardiovascular care.

Dr. Tamer Montaser is a consultant in cardiac and general intensive care, ECMO, and emergency medicine, with dual specialty training completed in the UK. He currently serve at STMC, where he lead the ECMO service, driving excellence in critical care delivery. With extensive experience in managing complex cardiac and respiratory emergencies, He combine advanced clinical expertise with a commitment to improving patient outcomes through multidisciplinary collaboration and innovative critical care strategies.

Dr. Tarig Omer, MD, serves as the Chair of the Critical Care Division and is a Staff Cardiothoracic and Neuro Intensivist at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He is a recognized leader in Interventional Critical Care and brings over 15 years of experience in academic medicine and advanced multidisciplinary ICU care. Dr. Omer completed his Internal Medicine residency at Wright State University, followed by a Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at St. Louis University–Mercy Hospital, and a Neurocritical Care Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. His areas of expertise include cardiothoracic, vascular, surgical, and neurocritical care, with a specialization in ECMO, echocardiography, VADs, transplant critical care, and interventional ICU procedures. Dr. Omer is also actively involved in postgraduate education, interdisciplinary training, and the development of critical care ultrasound and procedural protocols. He frequently serves as faculty at international conferences and courses, with academic interests in advanced ICU interventions, hemodynamics, mechanical circulatory support devices, and imaging-guided care.

Dr. Walid Omer Ahmed is a Consultant Cardiac Anaesthesiologist and Critical Care Specialist, currently the Lead Cardiac Anaesthesia Consultant at Sheikh Tahnoon Medical City (STMC) in Abu Dhabi. Trained in Ireland with the FCAI and CCST, he has extensive experience across Ireland, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, with expertise in complex cardiac anaesthesia, ECMO, and TEE. He was previously a consultant at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, with a strong focus on patient safety, ICU protocol development, and multidisciplinary care.
